A 2025 customer who had hired JD Construction for the third time described a driveway expansion with natural stone retaining walls, and said the owners Tom and James were on site every day supervising. That 2025 customer said that on an earlier job, one of their workers removed and replaced a cracked retaining block that was outside the designated work area. A 2025 customer said JD Construction replaced failing retaining walls, stairs and walkways at a 40-year-old home, with crews starting the day after the agreement was signed. A 2025 customer said Owner James quoted a front-step replacement and the blue stone stairs were done within two days. We wanted a bit more room in our driveway but wanted to do something a bit nicer than asphalt. JD and crew built us a beautiful paver driveway. While doing that we decided to also upgrade the front and back walkways and patio. Overall it was a great project which is beautified our home and added much convenience in the form of additional parking. JD really made the process simple, answered all questions, and delivered a beautiful product.

This is the third time we hired JD construction for all of our stone/masonry work and let me tell you they NEVER disappoint! This time around was the same concept with expanding a driveway to fit an extra vehicle and the pavered driveway with retaining walls, however, instead of retaining blocks for the retaining walls we opted to go with natural stone. What I love about JD is at first they told us it was going to be difficult and possibly not an available option to do natural stone retaining walls but they never gave up and a week later reached out to us and told us it was doable. The natural stone came out absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures they showed us examples of and just looks stunning! Work started the day after we signed the contract and agreement and each and every day both the owners Tom and James were always on site for long periods of time supervising their work to be done. Their workers are hard workers, that don’t cut corners and gets the job done right. One of our previous jobs from JD construction, one of our retaining block was cracked, not fully broken or anything, yet one of their workers still went out of their way to remove the block and replace it even though it wasn’t in the designated area of work to be done by JD. They even did a small design around our clean out drain cover that’s in the center of our driveway. It’s the small details that always makes a big difference. Save yourself the time, hassle, and effort trying to find good masonist or stone work workers and just simply call JD construction for all of your masonry work!
