JG Painting

JG Painting is a Portsmouth painting company that says it has been in business 28 years. A recent customer said owner Jeff stays in constant contact with his team, and thanked Jeff and project manager Andrew for making their old home look new again. For a new townhome, a recent customer said the team prepped floors and furniture before painting. Another recent job was decks and trim: that customer said Andrew did the work and planned to use JG Painting for the whole house next year. A 2026 customer said the interior of their Durham home included two built-in cabinets, a staircase and window casings, with careful prep even on a spackled wall where a built-in bookcase used to be. A 2025 customer who bought a 100-year-old New Englander in Portsmouth said Patrick and Andrew spent several days removing wallpaper, repairing ceilings and priming, covering furniture and vacuuming daily. A 2025 facility manager at Greenland Central School said Jeff and his team painted the school gym. A 2024 customer said their exterior project included significant carpentry and repair work in addition to painting. A 2023 customer said prep for exterior painting turned up rot in the siding and window trim, and JG stepped in with carpentry work on short notice. A 2022 customer described wood repair and the stripping and painting of siding and trim on a 1925 Sears kit house and detached garage. A 2025 customer said Jeff was transparent in his pricing and showed up as promised.
