JHC Service LLC

JHC Service works the Cape's heating season out of Brewster — ductless mini-splits, boilers, oil tanks, and a 24-hour line for the morning the heat quits. The company's site says Jay (also called Jason by customers) has been in the trade since 2005 and has run the business on Cape Cod since 2013, operating earlier as Ivy's Heating & Cooling, and describes the company as family owned and operated. The same site lists manufacturer credentials that line up with that mix of work: Fujitsu Elite Contractor on the ductless side, Roth double-wall oil tank installer, and an Energy Kinetics/System 2000 dealer and installer for boilers. A Centerville neighbor writing on Nextdoor in June 2026 described Jason coming to the house and diagnosing a problem a previous installer had spent 10 hours on and then never fixed, and said they came away impressed. This is a sensible call for a Cape Cod homeowner weighing a mini-split install or an aging boiler or oil tank, particularly if you want the person doing the work to be the one who shows up. Get the scope and the price in writing before anything starts, ask for a couple of recent local references on the same kind of job, and confirm licensing and insurance.
