Repair work (not on their original work) is very, very expensive and it not guaranteed in any manner. I had a leak around a plumbing pipe on my metal roof. The tech that came out to do the repair was here for maybe 20 minutes (from arrival to departure) and used 1 tube of sealant (maybe not even a full tube, but that was all that he took up) and it cost $650 and has no guarantee that what they did will even fix the issue. That works out to around $2000/hour for the work, which seems a bit excessive. I emailed the office manager about the situation, and received no reply. UPDATE: -22-Sept-2026 After a day of steady, but not heavy rain, the leak was still there. I finally climbed up on the roof to see what they actually did and what I found was a bit of clear caulk in a few places (see attached photo) that in no way would (in my opinion) justify the price I paid. I called the office and I was told that repair work is not guaranteed (which I knew, but I though maybe they would come out and add another bit of caulk to try to alleviate the issue). They had the supervisor call me, but I was on a call at the time, so I called back, left a message and never heard from them again. I know that they say that they say that part of the cost is for their experience and expertise, and while I would still not be happy about how much the repair cost, if the problem was solved (even for a year or so), at least I could say that their expertise made it worth the cost. Since they fixed nothing, I am now just out the $650 and I still have the problem. Saying that the pipes needs to be moved, seems excessive. The same pipes have been in the same place since the 1980's and the metal roof was installed in around 2002, so why would their placement suddenly be the cause. It is obvious (to me) from the pictures that the sealant around the pipes is getting old and needing to be redone, but I would have assumed that an expert in the field would have done exactly that. Removing the old sealants and adding new, would have fully justified the cost. Instead, now I will try to fix it myself. Maybe they do a great job on full installations, but as for repairs, I can say that I am not at all satisfied. Hopefully this helps somebody else...

A+++ experience. Johanna and Will were outstanding to work with. We had the usual "old roof" issues of moss, general wear and loosening shingles, but our most bothersome problem was ice buildup where the garage roof meets the house. As a result, every winter, we had to fight to open the connecting door due to the weight of the ice above it. I was unable to be on site on the day the work was done, but came the next day; it felt as if the roof had been replaced by magic. I scoured the grounds and found exactly ONE roofing nail to prove that JMS had been there. No shingles, no tar paper, nothing - perfect clean-up job. We now have a new beautiful roof. I am particularly excited about that the ice buildup solution recommended by Johanna. Can't wait for the next heavy snow!

Will and his team did an amazing job replacing our roof. I'd recommend them to everyone, they were fast, courteous and professional. We couldn't be more happy with how our roof looks now.
