John Crowley Construction is a Pembroke general contractor run, by its own account, as a father-and-son shop — John Crowley Sr., who the site says has more than 30 years in the trade, and John Crowley Jr. The work it lists is the full South Shore remodel mix: kitchens, bathrooms and basements, decks, home additions, ADUs, roofing and siding, for residential and commercial clients. The number the site prints as its "State License No. 114197" checks out, though not as the credential the label suggests. CS-114197 is a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor Licence — the personal building-code credential the supervisor of a job carries — and it is active through February 2027, held by John D Crowley. In a 2021 South Shore Business Review interview, John D. Crowley said he is originally from Pembroke and that the trade runs in his family; his father ran a construction company when he was young. Beyond that there is little to go on. No customer reviews are on file from any platform, so nothing here speaks to how the jobs actually run — the honest read is that this is a company you would have to check out yourself. Its stated service area is Pembroke, Hanover, Norwell, Hingham, Cohasset, Scituate, Duxbury, Marshfield, Kingston and Plymouth.
