Thomas and Ana Construction

Thomas and Ana Construction is a Malden general contracting business owned and operated by Ricardo, who the company says has been building for more than two decades (Thumbtack separately lists the company itself at 9 years). It works kitchen and bath remodeling, decks, windows, siding and trim, new construction, and historic restoration across the Boston area. The written record is deep and unbroken: 18 reviews from 2023 through 2026 across five sources, every one five stars. Several describe genuinely complex work — a 2026 review describes replacing the exterior siding on a 125-year-old home, a project that required both lead paint and asbestos abatement handled correctly along the way; another from the same year describes a detached garage addition built from initial layout through framing, siding, and roofing, coming out looking like it had always been part of the house. Bathroom work comes up repeatedly too: a 2026 review describes a bathroom and pantry remodel where Ricardo brought in a full crew — plumber, electrician, painter, and tiler — and kept the homeowner updated at every step, and a 2023 Thumbtack review simply calls a finished bathroom fabulous. What stands out most is how many reviewers come back: one describes working with Ricardo on three separate occasions and says the price he quotes is always the price paid, and another describes three projects together, calling him one of the best people and workers they've met. A 2023 review credits him with restoring old windows, interior carpentry, staircases, and custom storefronts, calling the range of skills rare. Other reviews describe a custom-built coffee bar, widened exterior stairs with a redone landing, and a closet reconstruction — all praised for clean, on-time, communicative work. Google shows 16 ratings at a full 5.0, and Thumbtack rates the company "Exceptional" at 5.0 across 5 reviews. For siding and exterior work, a bathroom remodel, a garage addition, or custom carpentry in the Malden/Boston area, this is a deep, consistent, and specific record — including customers with the strongest kind of endorsement: they keep coming back.
