Forty-three permits under one name, and a clear pattern running through them: kitchens, bathrooms, decks and porches for homeowners across Revere, Brookline, Arlington, Newton, Waltham and East Boston, run out of 156 Pauline St in Winthrop. The bigger jobs show the range. In 2018 a Revere house got a new top floor and a conversion from one family to two, a $193,000 permit, and a second one-to-two conversion followed in Revere the year after. A 2022 Arlington job — one kitchen and two bathrooms — was permitted at $59,670. There is commercial work in the file too: a 2023 buildout of six offices, a bathroom and warehouse space inside a Malden building on Eastern Ave, valued at $230,000. On paper the pace has slowed. BuildZoom counts one permit in 2023 and one in 2024, the latter an $18,570 rear deck replacement in West Roxbury. Some of the older entries are a different trade altogether: three roof-mounted solar arrays in Newton and Rowley, all pulled back in 2013. BuildZoom lists both a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 121499, and a construction supervisor licence, CS-067436, and says it verified each as active in July 2026. Those are the directory's entries rather than a check against the state, so confirm the numbers with Consumer Affairs and the Department of Public Safety yourself. The real gap is customer voice: no reviews are posted. The permits show someone who has handled full room renovations, structural two-family conversions and a commercial buildout — they say nothing about how any of it went for the people who paid for it. Ask for three recent homeowners you can call, and find out who is actually on site day to day before you commit.
