In October 2026 a Google reviewer wrote that after Jon fixed a couple of drywall repairs, "you genuinely can not tell where the damage originally was," and that he did an extra coat of paint to blend it. Jon The Builder is a handyman business; a September 2026 r/newhampshire commenter placed "Jon the builder" in Manchester. Its own site sums up the work as "decks, doors, drywall, painting and the whole honey-do list, done right and done clean." In May 2026 a reviewer had Jon fix a couple of loose stair rail posts and a sagging garage door, and wrote that he "showed up when he said he would." In January 2026 a customer wrote that he came out in freezing temperatures to fix a sliding door's alignment and handle "when others couldn't help." A February 2026 reviewer described a third job with him: a large plaster patch the first time, taking apart a dresser to fit up the stairs the second, and then moving the wall and door in their pantry/bathroom. In May 2025 a customer whose doorframe was broken in a forced entry wrote that Jon "came the next morning" and left "a functional, locking door" after about an hour. In March 2025, after a tree fell on a reviewer's house with rain coming, he was there "first thing the next morning" to patch the roof. One August 2025 bay-window trim job turned up "a lot of rot"; the reviewer wrote that he replaced the rotted portion, primed and painted, and it came to "a few hundred dollars more than the quote," which they called understandable. In August 2024 a reviewer and their spouse described a 124-year-old house where Jon removed two cracked interior ceilings, dealt with the lath and plaster, replaced attic insulation and put up new ceilings, and wrote that "even as the projects became more complicated, he stuck to his original quote."
“Jon the builder in Manchester. He does great work.”
Jon is phenomenal! He took care of a couple of drywall repairs for me. You genuinely can not tell where the damage originally was and he did an extra coat of paint to really blend it. Highly recommend Jon the builder for any handyman needs!
Jon has been my go to guy for any home construction projects (for myself or clients) for a couple years. It's extremely rare finding someone in any construction trade who has Jon's level of care regardless of the size of the project or scope of work. Anything from small drywall repairs, building a dog kennel, or finishing off a basement Jon has quite literally done it all for me. I am fully comfortable recommending Jon to clients and family and have no doubt he will treat them with above and beyond service. If your looking for a home renovation this is your guy!
Jon did a great job fixing a couple of loose stair rail posts and sagging garage door. He's a good listener, communicated effectively and showed up when he said he would. I'm making a list of other things that need fixing and will do business with him again.
Jon has been a pleasure to deal with. I've had him help me a couple of times with my action figure displays. He's been professional, prompt, and has done a great job each time. He had the knowledge to perform the job and was able to bang it out in a timely manner. Highly recommended. 👍 Jon helped with turning this ammo can into a cool, military themed action figure display. He removed the side of the can for the figures to be displayed, cut the glass, and cut the shelves for the figures to be displayed on. Came out great.
Had Jon repair a section of drywall. He not only did an exceptional job but he was very accommodating in fitting us in to his schedule. His prices were also very reasonable. Thanks Jon
