Jones & Co Plumbing is a family-owned Winthrop, MA plumbing business run by Nicholas Jones, self-reported with 20-plus years as a plumber, now serving residential customers in the Essex and Norfolk County area with faucet, fixture and pipe repair, water heater installation, gas piping, and gas boiler and radiator heating repair. The 12 reviews on file, all on Angi from May 2024 through April 2025, are essentially all five-star and consistently describe fast response — same-day or next-day visits — along with clear, plain-language explanations of what was wrong and why. Reviewers describe Nick replacing water heaters, fixing faucets and flush valves, and diagnosing a boiler problem while keeping a finished basement clean, and one reviewer specifically credits him with staying on a tough job until it was fixed rather than giving up. One thing worth knowing before booking: the directory listings state that Jones & Co does not offer emergency service or warranties, so same-day work described in reviews appears to depend on availability rather than a guaranteed emergency response. For faucet, fixture, water heater, or boiler repair in the Winthrop area, the consistent, detailed praise here is a good sign — just plan ahead rather than counting on emergency service for a true after-hours crisis.
Nick responded to my inquiring within minutes, and came out next day to assess the repairs. He thoroughly inspected all faucets and values, including those in the basement. He explained what was needed, and why other items should be updated as well. He fixed all repairs in one day and was incredibly kind and courteous. A+
Nick was courteous on time and was in my price range. Highly recommending.him and his business
He was very friendly, very helpful and stayed on the job until he got it to work. He didnâ t just quit and let it go off to get somebody else. He got it working really good. I recommend him highly. I recommend a gentleman because of his good work he took a lot of pride and what he was doing
Great service
Nick came when he said he would, did very professional work for a comparatively good price and worked efficiently while here.
