Jones & Co. Plumbing is a family-owned, owner-operated plumbing business at 59 Sewall Ave in Winthrop, Massachusetts. By its own account, Nicholas Jones has spent 20-plus years as a plumber across residential, commercial, industrial, medical-facility and life-sciences work, and now takes residential jobs in the Essex and Norfolk County area. In practice the jobs people describe are the everyday ones: faucets, fixtures and pipe repairs, water heater installation and replacement, gas piping, and gas boiler and radiator heating repairs. A May 2024 customer had a water heater swapped out at their mother's house and said Nick came quickly, fitted a more reliable unit, and explained it in plain terms to both of them. An April 2024 reviewer said he diagnosed a boiler fault, explained exactly what was wrong in language they could follow, fixed it promptly, and left a newly finished basement so clean they would not have known he had been there. Speed of response is the most consistent theme. An April 2025 customer said Nick answered their enquiry within minutes and came out the next day, checked every faucet and valve including the basement ones, explained what needed doing and why other items were worth updating, and completed all the repairs in a single day. A June 2024 reviewer got a toilet flush valve checked at 6pm the same day. Others mention that he arrives when he says he will and works efficiently once there. Pricing and conduct also come up repeatedly. A 2024 customer described a $250 gas piping job and wrote that they walked away confident the work was done correctly, with integrity and at a fair price. A June 2024 faucet-replacement customer said he went beyond the job and fixed other issues they had not known about. Recorded job values in these accounts range from about $200 for a small repair to $2,100 for a water heater. One practical note: Angi and HomeAdvisor carry the identical 5.0 average from the same twelve reviews, so treat that as a single record. If your home sits outside the Essex and Norfolk area the company names, confirm coverage when you call.

Nick responded to my inquiring within minutes, and came out next day to assess the repairs. He thoroughly inspected all faucets and values, including those in the basement. He explained what was needed, and why other items should be updated as well. He fixed all repairs in one day and was incredibly kind and courteous. A+
Nick was courteous on time and was in my price range. Highly recommending him and his business
He was very friendly, very helpful and stayed on the job until he got it to work. He didn't just quit and let it go off to get somebody else. He got it working really good. I recommend him highly. I recommend a gentleman because of his good work he took a lot of pride and what he was doing
Nick came when he said he would, did very professional work for a comparatively good price and worked efficiently while here.
