The permit trail fills in what two reviews cannot. BuildZoom lists 27 permitted projects for Advantage III Plumbing & Heating — plumbing, bathroom and kitchen work in Revere, Malden and Winthrop, plus a $51,500 first-floor remodel in Marblehead in 2021 and a gas-fitter permit at that same address the year after. A property owner writing in 2023 said that ringing Joe or the office is where their plumbing problems start getting fixed, and that for a landlord that kind of answer is the whole point. One thing to sort out if the job is bigger than a repair. BuildZoom lists a second registration, number 188244, and describes it two different ways on the same page: in one place an HVAC and mechanical contractor licence that expired in 2023, in another a home improvement contractor registration that was at one point cancelled. Neither description has been checked against the state, so ask which registration covers your work if you are hiring for a remodel. For a Winthrop-area plumbing job — a gas boiler, a bathroom fit-out, a toilet that wants measuring before it is ordered — this is a small outfit built around one licensed master plumber who sends someone to look before anything is bought. Only a handful of customers have written anything down, so ask for two or three recent local addresses and confirm who will actually be doing the work.
