A customer decluttering a 33-year-old home says the three-person crew from Just Dump It, LLC was there the very next business day, fit large and small furniture and tons of bagged items into the truck, and swept up afterward. Tom, the owner, even took two large bags of old, clean towels to the animal shelter for that customer. Just Dump It handles junk removal and dumpster rentals, and on Google it holds 4.9 stars from 268 ratings. The company lists Old Lyme first in a stated service area that also names New London, Middlesex, New Haven, Hartford and Windham, and it says it has been in business 18 years. The jobs run from single items to whole properties. One customer describes a shed demolition where Tom was careful to avoid the septic tank and leech field and was thorough on the yard cleanup after. A customer who needed a hot tub removed got a price right away and a slot within the week. A customer with a boat and trailer that had not been moved in many years says the first load was picked up within a few hours of the call and the boat was removed within the week. Two sofas came out through one customer's front door with care, and three sheds of junk were cleared for a customer selling a dad's house. A customer who rented a dumpster for a week reports no issues and prices that beat the other places checked. A 2026 customer said Tom ended up working the job himself and that the company owns the roll-offs the job needed. A 2025 customer said Tommy recommended and removed wall-to-wall carpeting to expose the hardwood floors, and that the entire house, including a basement and garage, was cleaned out in one day. A 2025 customer said that when the dumpster was emptied, the company pulled out an old backpack holding irreplaceable letters, as asked. One recent customer who wanted a 10-yard dumpster for a weekend project says they reached out for a quote multiple times, were told the company was fully booked for months, and got a quote only after the third call back.

Consummate professionals; excellent communication, well-organized, well-prepared, great pricing. They came out within a few days of our request, on a day that’s a holiday for some people. They arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Very nice guys. They cleaned and swept the entire area before they left. We are very happy and highly recommend Just Dump It, LLC, and will reach out again when the time comes. Thank you very much, Just Dump It, LLC!
Tommy and his team did an amazing job helping us clean out our Dads home and hopefully donate as much as possible to those in need. They were timely, efficient and highly professional. I would highly recommend them!

An Amazing Experience with Just Jump It! I am an excited and happy senior citizen who is decluttering a 33-year-old home, and Just Jump It has done an amazing job over the past two days! I called them, and they were here the very next business day. Just like a TV ad, I pointed, and they made it disappear! They even swept up afterward. The three-person crew was professional, polite, and full of great suggestions about things I might want to get rid of. I was amazed at how much they managed to fit into their truck, from large and small pieces of furniture to tons of bagged items. Tom, the owner, went above and beyond by helping me with several other things I needed done. He even took two large bags of old, clean towels to the animal shelter for me! I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Decluttering a home after 33 years can feel overwhelming, but Just Jump It made the process easy and stress-free. I highly recommend Just Jump It to anyone who needs help clearing out their home. Great service, great people, and a job very well done!
