Rebuilding chimneys and repairing aging masonry are jobs customers have described hiring K&F Masonry to do. In a February 2020 Google review, a Longmeadow homeowner said Kevin rebuilt both chimneys from the roof up and gave a fair quote. A May 2018 customer credited Kevin, Todd and Tony with restoring a crumbling chimney’s function and choosing brick that suited the house. The company is based in Springfield. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 173973, is expired according to the state registry. Written reviews span 2015–2025, with much of the detailed customer history dating to 2015–2020. Google shows 4.3 stars from 12 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.7 stars from 64 ratings. In July 2017, a customer described replacing deteriorating hatchway masonry and stairs, said the new masonry matched the remaining sections, and reported that it still looked new two years later. Another 2017 customer praised Kevin and Steve’s fireplace repair and reasonable price. One patio project required a substantial redo. In an October 2025 review, the customer said a bad batch of concrete from the supplier meant Kevin had to demolish the patio a second time. The work took longer, but the customer praised the finished result and said Kevin stuck with it. A November 2015 reviewer also liked the work while considering the $500 price too high. Older chimney-service accounts include specific praise for honest assessments and cleanup. A December 2015 customer requested cleaning and inspection, then said the worker found their little-used chimneys did not need cleaning and saved them money. In November 2015, another customer described chimney sweeping, explanations of the chimney’s condition, cleanup and a bill matching the quote. A separate customer that month said the technician cleaned two fireplaces carefully and accommodated a last-minute schedule.
