The work people call him for is the awkward kind. A March 2026 customer had him dig a foundation for an addition in Boston — no small feat in that city — and said he shifted his schedule when a snag turned up. In December 2025 another had a defective infiltration system torn out and rebuilt, and the civil engineer approved the result. Two separate September 2024 reviews describe driveways sinking or collapsing near a foundation, one of them traced back to the original builder's work: Gerry found the cause, gave a price the homeowner called fair, and was done in a couple of days. Sewer mains come up repeatedly through 2023, including one replacement a customer needed finished under a deadline. A 2023 fireplace-insert job needed a narrow gas-line trench cut through rock and ledge on a steep hill. Two smaller habits reviewers keep mentioning: calls and texts get answered, and the site gets cleaned. A November 2025 customer noted the crew started early, worked the full day, minded a pet who needed the yard, and swept both the yard and the sidewalk before leaving. One thing to ask for. The company states on its own site that it is registered, bonded and fully insured — that is the business's own claim, so ask for the certificates before a machine touches the ground. For a foundation dig, a sewer line, a failing driveway, or a permit fight you need someone to stand in with you, Gerry is the name on every account here. Get the restoration written into the price alongside the dig — the grading, the patching, and what the yard is supposed to look like when the crew leaves.
