Knotty Arborists LLC

We recently hired Knotty Arborists for tree removal, pruning, and stump grinding, and we couldn't be more satisfied with their work. From start to finish, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and a steadfast commitment to safety. During the initial estimate, Tanya and Branden thoroughly discussed our needs and goals, offering knowledgeable recommendations on what work should be done and optimal timing for each tree. The estimate itself was impressively detailed—it included photos of each tree and shrub, clear descriptions of the proposed work, pricing, and helpful notes about species-specific timing. On the days of the job, (they were here twice) they arrived promptly and maintained relentless momentum from the moment they stepped on site. Their work was methodical, efficient, and—most importantly—executed with considerable emphasis on safety throughout every phase of the project. They worked with meticulous care to protect our property, demonstrating the professionalism you'd expect from certified arborists who take safety seriously. Their expertise and credentials are evident in how they approach every detail of their work. The final cleanup was thorough and impressive. We also could tell that they absolutely love the work they do. Having one’s heart in it can make the difference between a good job and an exceptional job. They did an exceptional job. Finally, they are really nice people and a pleasure to work with. We plan to use them again for future projects and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing professional arborist services.

We have had many trees taken down in the past from other companies but now I know true professionalism and will never call any one else but Tanya and Branden from the Knotty Arborists. They are not only knowledgeable but also meticulous with their work. I couldn't even tell what areas they had worked in after they were done. They came when they said they would be there and were efficient and super friendly. Seriously, there is no comparison. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Branden and Tanya were amazing. Everything was on time and efficient. They were able to go above and beyond and answer all sorts of random questions I had, and the final results were great!

We are extremely happy with the work Knotty Arborists have completed on our property here in Naples, ME. Starting with their clear explanations of the job ahead and a review of other trees on our property and continuing through to the completion of the work. Everything was handled professionally and with great detail and attention to keeping our place clean, neat, and safe. I would highly recommend them!

We hired Knotty Arborists to take down about half a dozen trees, including several that were complicated by heavy invasive vines and trees near our home’s electrical service line. They did an excellent job. They were professional, efficient, and safety-conscious from start to finish. Communication was outstanding—they kept us updated throughout the project, asked questions when needed, and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. They even took the time to organize the timber by type and neatly pile the brush, which we really appreciated. They also took great care of our property by using impact mats to protect our septic system and being careful around our fence. They showed up on time, finished ahead of schedule, and did exactly what they said they would. Knotty Arborists is an honest, hardworking team that clearly cares about doing quality work and treating their customers well. We’d absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable tree work.
