Donovan Tree Removal says it has been in business 19 years, and its website describes crane and lift services for hazardous tree takedowns in both Maine and NH. The service area it names is Baldwin and Sebago. One customer had Nick Donovan take down two maples near the power line to the house; the trees came down carefully to avoid the line, the trunks were cut into logs and the brush was taken away. That customer said Nick provided a written quote and came on time when the job was scheduled. A customer who has had Nick help with four trees in the last few years said the latest was a damaged 40-inch-diameter ash, with the smaller logs stacked behind the barn as asked. A customer who had an old dead pine too close to the house removed said the job was completed quickly with a cleanup afterwards. A customer hiring the company for the second time said Nick stays when the job is done and cleans up stray branches on the ground. A customer said Nick returned a first call promptly, came out for an estimate within a couple of days and set a price that customer called very fair.
