Lakeview Landscaping

Lakeview Landscaping is a family operation running out of Lunenburg since 1970, when Russell Harvey Jr., a 1968 Stockbridge School of Agriculture graduate, spun it off from his father's garden center. Mark Bursch, a Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional, has run the company as president since 1996, and its crew today also handles vegetation maintenance on solar fields under an OSHA-certified team. Recent reviews center on careful plant work: one customer thanked the crew after an arborvitae installation that turned out better than expected, and another described a sprinkler repair that finally fixed electrical issues and coverage gaps a previous crew had left behind. A longtime customer who buys wood and gravel from the company says the pricing is fair and the quality consistently high. Not every account is clean. In 2023, one customer said a crew removed a tree and a hydrangea bush that had been marked off-limits, and another described a lawn treatment that burned patches of grass, though the company came back that August to repair it. A 2025 review also complained about a company truck passing dangerously on a nearby road. For routine mowing, plantings, or irrigation repairs in the Lunenburg area, this is a company with five decades under the same family; given the 2023 property complaint, it's worth confirming up front exactly which trees and plantings are off-limits before work begins.
