Before finding Laku Electric, one family had already spent close to $3,000 on their parents' electrical problems, and another electrician had suggested replacing the main breaker panel. In a 2023 Thumbtack review, the customer said Laku diagnosed and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Tracking down what someone else got wrong is the job this Dedham electrician keeps getting called for. Avdulla Cekrezi, the electrician customers call Laku or Avdulla, holds Massachusetts electrician license #11806-EL-B, which is active. Angi shows 4.9 stars from 33 ratings and Thumbtack 4.8 from 43. Its written reviews run 2018–2025. The fix-it stories repeat. In a January 2025 review, a household whose breakers had misbehaved ever since a different electrician installed a 220V dryer breaker said Laku diagnosed it quickly, reworked the original wiring to be more efficient, and was in and out in under an hour. A 2021 reviewer who works in engineering said he solved a problem left by an existing electrician and would not stop until everything worked. A September 2025 customer said he looked at the problem and had a solution immediately. The older reviews describe careful wall work. In a 2018 review, he ran a new line from the basement panel to a third-floor attic and down into a bedroom, patched the two holes he cut, and replaced an outlet showing burn marks. A 2021 customer said he made the smallest holes possible and patched them before leaving; in a 2019 review, new homeowners had dead outlets and a room without ceiling lights fixed and every breaker in the panel tested and labeled. Price comes up often, as fair or reasonable. One Angi review, from June 2023, is a complaint. The customer said a pantry light he had installed stopped working, he returned and found a tripped GFI outlet in the garage, and charged $85 for the second visit; she wrote that a $20 light ended up costing $270 and that he does not own up to his mistakes. Angi shows the business disputed her account in a public reply.
