An April 2026 reviewer who said Mike and his crew had worked on their landscaping for more than 20 years described a newly completed 15-foot dry-stone wall under a deck, finished ahead of schedule. The customer also praised respect for the property and the price.
Based in Holland, Massachusetts, the company says Mike founded and leads it, personally meeting every customer and doing the design work. It reports 35 years in business and says its founder trained in landscape architecture at the University of Massachusetts. Its stated service area includes Holland, Sturbridge, Charlton, Auburn, Oxford, Webster, Brimfield, Wales, the Brookfields, Monson, Hampden and the Longmeadows.
A May 2026 customer described using the company for 15 years, including stone patios and stairs, rope railing, trees and shrubs, gardens, fall cleanup and spring weeding and mulching. A June customer praised Mike's advice and creativity and said the work was completed well and on time. In a May 2025 review, another customer praised a patio and lawn reseeding.
Older Houzz accounts describe more extensive design and construction. In April 2015, a customer said Mike rebuilt an overgrown hill sloping toward a lake with Goshen stone stairs, two retaining walls, a flat seating area and new plantings. The reviewer said the job finished on time and on budget, used native plants and retained one existing shrub. They also described Mike appearing before the Conservation Commission and working within its guidelines.
Another April 2015 customer reported a stone driveway, block retaining walls, permeable-paver walkways and patio, stairs, fences and plantings, followed by later maintenance and repairs. In April 2016, a customer praised patio and stair installation and attention to drainage issues, saying deadlines were met or delays explained, mostly in connection with weather.
Google shows 4.2 stars from 10 ratings, while Houzz shows five stars from seven ratings. The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, with Michael Thibeault as its holder. A March 2023 Reddit commenter recommended Landscape Evolution in Holland while explicitly saying they were unsure whether it served Worcester.
