Landserv, Inc. says on its website that its mission is lawn care and landscape maintenance. On Houzz, the company calls itself a full service landscape design and maintenance company and names Michael Sweeney as lead designer and owner. A 2025 Google customer said the company signed a contract with them and failed to show up for over a month, causing their plants to die and unnecessary additional expenses. That 2025 customer also said it had been hard to get in touch with Matt and Landserv. A 2025 Houzz reviewer said Landserv's gravediggers dug a grave to the left of the reviewer's father, after the family had asked for the right. That 2025 reviewer objected to a $2,000 charge to open the grave and said a message left for Sweeney/Landserv got no response. A 2022 Google customer called Landserv a professional and reliable landscape company and said the staff were friendly. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0550058, held by Landserv Inc, as inactive due to non-renewal.

I think one star is way too many to give to Landserv Inc. Landserv's people DUG THE WRONG GRAVE! We told the funeral director three or four times that we wanted my brother buried to the RIGHT of my father. It is the only monument there and his name is on the right part of the monument. The gravediggers dug the grave to the LEFT of my father. How hard is it for at least two adults to tell right from left? Why is this such a big deal? Because my father's name is engraved on the RIGHT side of the double monument. It's very common for couples to have a shared monument, not a parent and child. To correct this, either they dig the correct grave and move the coffin and cement liner to the proper one - an option I don't want - OR they have to move the monument to cover my father's grave and the future grave of my mother AND they have to fix the engraving without making it look like they botched the whole thing up, which they did. P.S. Michael (Sensitive Information Hidden) has the audacity to charge $2,000 to open the grave. Guess what? I'm not paying them until we are satisfied with the way the graves and monuments look and the correction is going to have to be at their expense. P.S.S. I left a message for Sweeney/Landserv and never got a response. Every cemetery association that uses Landserv should fire them.
Been an absolute nightmare trying to get intouch with Matt and Landserv. This company signed a contract with us and failed to show up for over a month causing our plants to die and a tremendous amount of unnecessary additional expenses.
Landserv has been the most professional and reliable landscape company that I have ever worked with. The staff are friendly and always willing to go above and beyond!
