Landworks Enterprises, at 166 Colonial Rd in Manchester, holds 4.9 stars from 87 Google ratings. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0656079, is listed by the state registry as inactive due to non-renewal of the credential. In a May 2022 review, a Glastonbury customer said other companies called removing two diseased trees on a hilly slope complicated and prohibitively expensive, while Landworks' machines parked in the street and took the trees down from a distance, a couple of hours per tree, for a quote well below the others. A September 2022 customer said four workers took down thirteen trees over 75 feet in less than six hours. In another May 2022 review, a customer said Matt and his team removed six large oaks near the house and power lines in one day, one of them 100 feet tall. In October 2022 a customer said Landworks removed about a dozen large trees, many hard to reach because of fencing and a hill, laid heavy mats on the lawn and hauled away all the wood. In a February 2023 review, a customer who asked for old fence and tree removal and a new vinyl fence said the tree crew cleared the trees and ground the stumps without damaging the lawn, and the fence crew removed the old fence and installed the new one all the same day. In March 2023 another customer credited A.J. and his crew with a new fence. In April 2026 a customer said Mr. Teske was patient through an estimate in a muddy backyard. In June 2022 a one-star reviewer said Mat came out and they took down a tree, and told them they would be back on a different day to grind the stump; they never came back, despite three messages by phone and text. An August 2022 one-star reviewer called the customer service extremely rude and the job on their trees the ugliest.
