Lawson Power Source holds 4.6 stars from 52 Google ratings. A 2022 customer said Victor and an installer put in a NEMA 14-50 outlet for an EV charger on a 70-foot run with a 15-foot rise, working through the house's framing and a crowded panel. A 2022 customer in East Hartford said Vic came out on a Saturday night after a breaker blew, came back on a Sunday night to do the job, and added two extra breakers. A 2024 customer said Victor and his crew installed a new chandelier and cleaned up afterward. The company has taken on more than wiring. A 2023 customer said their bathroom was gutted and remodeled within weeks of the first meeting with Victor and Karen. A 2023 customer said Victor replaced a circuit breaker box after hours, showed up about three hours late the next day to finish, and later never showed up or called for an appointment about outside wiring and a transfer switch. Amazing Service I need to convert my business into 240 watts installed to run our machines , they were prompt reasonable and efficient. They treated me like family.
I've tried reaching this guy for over 6 months. He doesn't return texts, voicemail is always full, secretary doesn't know what's going on with my job.....he still hasn't paid the court's ruling. A complete unprofessional is an understatement. If you see him before the marshall, tell him to pay his court order.
I've attempted to get service from this company 3 times now. I was scheduled for 7/10 from 11-2, no call/no show. I called them to reschedule for later that day 7/10 from 5-7, no call/no show. I called them after that and got rescheduled for 9 AM 7/11 (this morning). No call/no show, and now I can't reach anyone at their phone number. From previous reviews posted on Angi, it looks like this company has gone downhill and fast over the last year or so. Several complaints of unfinished work, not able to reach the company for work that needs to be finished, and even an indication the company has left with a customer's purchased items for the replacement. Buyer Beware.
They repeatedly failed to meet their scheduled appointments, resulting in multiple reschedulings before they eventually arrived at around 6pm for a 2pm appointment on November 14, 2023. Upon their late arrival, it was discovered they lacked the necessary wiring for the job, necessitating a trip to purchase additional supplies. The majority of the work was completed after 11pm, at which point it was revealed that they were missing a ground rod, essential for finishing the job. The contractors assured they would return at their earliest convenience to install the ground rod, which did not require my presence at home, and requested full payment for the whole job. I paid, trusting in their word. However, over four months have passed since that date, and my attempts to contact them have been futile, leaving the job incomplete.
Victor saved me from a electrical service call repair that I had been waiting on for a week. When I found him under a awesome review because waiting was no longer a option. I called him, he came the next day. His work was quick and efficient and professional. And he was reasonable in rate. Which made me wish I'd found him sooner. He's very customer friendly and pleasant to encounter..If you need a electrician that gets the job done I suggest you call Lawson Power Source. Lee A
