Local Home Offers is a Haverhill outfit that works both sides of a house sale, and the name that appears in nearly every review is Mark. The pattern people describe is speed and plain talk. A buyer in July said he answered every question thoroughly and came back fast on texts, emails and calls, and took the time to understand what they were trying to do rather than just close the deal. In March, a seller who had written off the property got it sold in the middle of winter. A February seller said he handled the moving parts and found an answer whenever they had a question. It's a young record, though. Reviews only start in 2025 — sixteen of them, all positive, behind an 18-rating Google average of 4.8. A year of consistency is a real signal, just a short one, and there is no long history to fall back on. The company is also listed with the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. Worth knowing before you call: part of the praise on the record comes from people in the trade — other investors and repeat business contacts describing him as someone they deal with — rather than from homeowners selling their own house. Read those differently than a seller's account of their own closing. If you're weighing a fast, low-friction sale against listing on the market, this is a reasonable call to make — just ask up front which route he's proposing for your house, what the offer is based on, and what the same property would likely bring listed.

Dealing with Local Home Offers was great. I called them about selling my house. Mark came out the next day to look at it, and sent me an offer that was fair.
