Mark Loughlin Carpenter Builders is a Cohasset carpentry outfit run by Mark Loughlin, working decks, porches, cabinets, framing and finish carpentry. Town permit records show 27 projects between 2011 and 2024 across Cohasset, Hingham and Scituate, and BuildZoom scores the company 98 — in the top 16 percent of Massachusetts contractors it tracks. Loughlin holds two active Massachusetts licenses verified with the state registry: a construction supervisor license (CS-064693) and a home improvement contractor registration (#158236). BuildZoom also lists a third, older home improvement contractor number, #130964 — worth confirming directly with the state register. Ask to see recent work in person and pin down the timeline and licensing before signing anything.
