We have a large retaining wall (10 foot high, more than 25 ft long) at the back of our property in Lynn that we knew we had to be replaced when we bought our house, and struggled to find someone who would even take on a project of that complexity — until we met Mario and MACH Landscaping. He had done another retaining wall close to our house for a neighbor that looked beautiful. Mario let us know a clear timeline and price upfront, dealt with a major demolition hurdle that he could only discover after he started excavation, and was a pleasure to work with. He gave good advice about height and different options. He also created a new stone staircase for us into the lot next door. We would recommend him and his team to anyone. The pricing was reasonable. He made a big job look easy, and we’re grateful.

Mario and his crew did an incredible job on our very large project, encompassing a back patio, stairs down to stone walkway on side with retaining wall, and a total redo of front stairs, walkway and front porch. Mario and his crew are very skilled, professional, hard working, and timely. They always solicited input, were open to making adjustments to plan along the way, and when solicited for design advise offered up a wealth of knowledge! He also moved two 23 year old trees. Recommend highly!!

Mario helped us completely transform our outdoor space, from garage demo to grading, large tree removal, installing fencing, new field stone steps, field stone retaining wall with bench and approximately 800 sq feet of pavers, among other smaller projects. Being the daughter of a GC and having done numerous projects inside our home, we have had a lot of exposure to contractors and sub-contractors. Working with Mario was the best experience. If you’re looking for someone who will do what they say, when they say it, and performs high quality work, then look no further. Besides the work itself Mario spent numerous hours discussing and planning the project with us, always happy to answer any questions we had and would discuss, in advance, any changes or options that came up. We will continue to use Mario for projects that arise, and have and will continue to recommended him to friends and family.

The work was completed on schedule for a reasonable price.
