M. Searles Paving and Tree Care

M. Searles Paving and Tree Care holds 4.8 stars from 18 Google ratings and an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau. On its BBB profile the company describes itself as offering tree removal, concrete and paving for residential and commercial customers, including driveways, parking lots, sports courts and walkways. Its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles say it has over 25 years of experience in paving. A 2025 customer wrote that Matt had paved the driveway the year before and cut down a few trees that year, at a good price. A 2025 customer hired them for a driveway and praised both the work and the prices. In a 2021 review, a customer said a previous company had left a paving and repair job unfinished, and that Mr. Searles showed up exactly when he said he would. That 2021 customer said his estimate was fair, that he pointed out what needed to be done and why, and that he offered alternative solutions. The same 2021 customer said two neighbors were interested in hiring him after seeing the work. A 2021 customer hired Matt for a relatively large driveway replacement and said he completed it quickly and kept them informed all the way. A 2026 customer said a paving project done quite a while earlier came out great, but the garage door and the metal casing around it were damaged during the job. That 2026 customer said he offered to file an insurance claim, then agreed instead to come back and seal the driveway at no cost, and that follow-ups over an extended period to schedule the sealing got no response. In a 2022 review, a customer said a driveway paving job that was supposed to be done in the fall kept getting delayed and was done in July. That 2022 customer was happy with the paving but said the crew left oil drips on the road and more than five five-gallon buckets' worth of sand around the edge of the driveway to clean up. A 2021 customer said the paving was done well but that he did not finish the job and could not be reached.
