Marini Paving & Sealcoating is an Ansonia driveway paver with 4.9 stars from 339 Google ratings, and customers describe Victor Marini, also called Vic, calling them to talk through the scope and schedule the work. The jobs are driveways, plus the drainage and stonework around them. In a September 2026 Google review, a Fairfield customer said Victor's team did more work than the quote was based on and refused to take more money. A May 2026 customer said that before finishing, the crew carefully tested the water runoff to make sure there would be no pooling. In June 2026, another said Marini handled the state right-of-way permit and asphalt apron, and the job went from first talk to done in 6 days. A November 2025 customer on a private dead-end road said the company restored the whole road and then paved their driveway. A September 2022 customer had a driveway replaced with a Belgian block border and praised Victor's attention to the edges where the asphalt meets the blocks. The complaint is older. In a September 2023 Google review, a 2-star customer said the time of service was excellent but, after a couple of years, the driveway had several pools, cracks and lumps, and that a tree-root issue should have been discussed before installation. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.8 stars from 24 ratings, and the BBB grade is A+. The company says it has been in business 12 years and offers free estimates. Connecticut's registry shows its home improvement contractor license, HIC.0672988, as active.
Very efficient and communicated well the timelines of the job.
Professional from the beginning. Precise with scheduling and expediting project. Amazing result. Thank you Marini Paving
We had an excellent experience with Marini Paving! From start to finish, they provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to accommodate our timeline. We needed our driveway and walkway completed before our daughter’s birthday party, and they made it happen! The work was done efficiently, professionally, and with great attention to detail. We absolutely love how our driveway and walkway turned out, and having everything completed in time for such a special occasion meant so much to our family. Thank you to the entire Marini Paving team for the expedited service, professionalism, and beautiful work. We highly recommend Marini Paving to anyone looking for quality work and a company that truly cares about its customers!
Based on great reviews and pleasant phone communication and an estimator that physically came to assess my driveway (some other companies would not), I decided on Marini. I was impressed that Victor personally called me to thank me for choosing his company. He was involved with everything and addressed my questions and worked alongside his hardworking crew. They did an amazing job! I was also impressed with how nice they keep their trucks and equipment. I am totally satisfied with the finished work. Thank you Victor and crew!
I just used Marini to pave my driveway and this company is great. I live in Fairfield and couldn't get people to answer my calls. Victor is responsive, his team does great work, he did more work than the quote was based on and refused to take more money (what a novelty). Recommend this service all day long to anyone who is considering using them.
