Martel Overhead Doors is a family-owned and operated garage-door specialist in Sanbornville that says it has served the Lakes Region since 2014. It sells, installs, repairs, and maintains residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial doors and openers, with service listed across eight nearby towns. The written customer history is small and mixed. In a June 2025 Google review, a homeowner said an opener was repaired for $250 but questioned whether the replacement part was necessary. An August 2023 reviewer described the service as polite, professional, and prompt. Martel says it offers free estimates, yearly preventive maintenance, repairs for all brands, and emergency repair service. Before booking, ask for a written parts and labor breakdown, confirmation of which part will be replaced, and warranty terms. The company is a reasonable fit for garage-door installation or repair in the Lakes Region, with the recent pricing concern making a second quote sensible for repair work.
“TOWN OF WAKEFIELD VENDOR HISTORY FOR 2020”
I had a problem with my garage door opener. Sam came out and checked a few things, took the opener apart . I went back into the house and came out a half hour later. The opener was all fixed and the bill was $250 for labor and a part he said he had to change. My camera on my garage records everything really clear. The part he said he changed, he took from the box on the side of his truck and left out to show me when I came back out. I wonder how many times he sold that broken part? The door opener got fixed but I wish I looked at my camera that morning. He knows what he’s doing but I’d stay right there with him and watch closely what he’s doing. 🤬
Excellent service!! Polite, professional and prompt. Really nice guy.😊
