Cody is the company. Grizzly Garage Door Repair works southern New Hampshire as a one-person operation — the About page is written in the first person and says the owner started it after seeing how hard it was for homeowners to find honest garage door help — and it is his name that turns up in review after review, from the first phone call to the cleanup. Speed is what customers keep describing. One homeowner in August 2026 asked for a quote and had him at the house a few hours later, repairs done on the spot. A May 2026 customer whose door was misbehaving said it was diagnosed and corrected inside the hour. Another in April 2026 had the site looked at, a return visit set for two days out, and a broken spring replaced plus a tune-up on the other doors at the agreed time. The work runs from small fixes to full replacements. Across 18 Google ratings averaging 5 stars, customers describe openers swapped out with the keypads and remotes to match — a June 2026 reviewer with four garages had all four handled — a control pad installed that same month, an opener added in August 2026 to a shed that never had one, and two WiFi openers with motion-sensing lights and battery backup that a May 2026 customer said run at a whisper. A March 2026 review walks through a maintenance visit item by item: hinges and belt checked, two remotes brought back to life, bulbs changed, hinges lubricated, and a note about a couple of parts worth changing later. Price comes up almost as often, and always the same way: fair, and stated before the work. An April 2026 reviewer called him honest, said there was no attempt to upsell, and mentioned a discount for military veterans. The four older reviews on Angi, all from March 2024, tell the same short story — a failed door seal with light coming through, replaced right away; an opener that quit, replaced the next day. One oddity to expect if you go looking: the Angi and HomeAdvisor pages are branded Grizzly, but their About text and one 2024 review say Genius Garage Door Repair, an apparent earlier name, with Cody the technician either way. This is the call for a stuck, noisy or dead garage door around Manchester, Nashua and Salem — the site lists fifteen towns, so check yours is on it, and get the price agreed before he starts, the way his reviewers describe it.
I highly reccommend! I reached out about some repairs I needed and asked if they would like to quote me. They came by a few hours later and offered me a very reasonable price and got the repairs done right then and there. Also gave me some tips to keep the garage working well in the future!
I called to have a garage door opener installed in a shed that didn't previously have one. It is great to see a young person with such an outstanding work ethic and attention to detail. Showed up right on time and got straight to work. I would highly recommend.
Punctual professional honest and priced fairly. Happy to have him fix my garage door and have already recommended him to a neighbor and family.
