In May 2026, a Google reviewer who could not get two large Marvin windows to close called Windows & Doors by Brownell, and Justin came over and fixed them within a half hour, showing the customer how to do it next time. An October 2026 reviewer wrote that the installation team for their new windows was courteous and skilled. The Williston company sells and installs Marvin windows and doors; its BBB profile says it was established in 1991, incorporated in 1994 and employs 25 people, with Les Brownell as president. In a March 2025 review, a customer whose 44 replacement windows became almost impossible to close in the second winter wrote that the showroom traced it to a gasket problem in that manufacturing run, and two men came when they said they would to fit new gaskets. A September 2023 reviewer had all 17 windows replaced and said the team recreated the existing trim. In May 2024, a customer described a large picture window installed in place of basement double doors, and an October 2025 reviewer thanked Noah, Joel, Travis and Hayley for two Elevate units sized to integrate with existing transom windows. A January 2024 Reddit commenter who bought Marvin windows from Brownell called it expensive. In a November 2025 review, a customer wrote that it was not inexpensive but worth it for a quality install. A September 2022 three-star reviewer praised the install but said add-ons such as trim, paint, travel, administration, disposal and insurance doubled the price, and wrote that they would go elsewhere for more work. In a November 2021 one-star review, a customer said a rep kept changing their windows from the fiberglass they wanted, and that a year later the owner made them wait three months for a $40k quote with no details for one sliding door and three windows.

I had a problem with my Marvin windows while trying to pull down the frames to clean them. I caused not one, but two large windows not to completely close (3 inch gap). I called Brownell Windows and Doors, and spoke to Justin who was amazing. He told me it was a simple problem I could fix myself, and recommended a video they made to show me how. He also said I could come in and he would show me himself. I did that, but realized the windows were too big for me to fix it myself. He said he’d come over and fix them real quick since I just lived around the corner. Within a half hour they were fixed, AND I knew how to fix them again if the same thing happened in the future. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. If I ever need new windows, I will go to Windows and Door by Brownell.
Very professional and high quality work. Not inexpensive but worth it for a quality install that will last. I was impressed with their scheduling communication and follow up at the end of each day so we knew the status and plan for the next day. Never left a mess always was tidy and white glove. Highly recommended

We had a complete window replacement in our home. 44 windows, I believe. The second winter, it was almost impossible to fully close our new windows. My wife and I went back to the showroom and when we described our window problem, the response was just what we hoped for. There had been a problem with gaskets in our manufacturing run of windows. New gaskets would be ordered and installed. This refit took place about a month ago. The two men who performed the work came exactly when they said they would. In addition, they were very professional, very tidy, and very neat. I can’t compliment them enough.
