Mass Tiny Homes is a Northborough company that does one thing: accessory dwelling units. It designs, permits and stick-builds detached and attached ADUs, converts garages, and puts up custom garages, pool houses and backyard offices, and it says it now takes work in Connecticut and Rhode Island as well as Massachusetts. The company is young. Its BBB file lists it as an LLC incorporated in April 2024, trading under the alternate name Laksh Enterprises LLC with Ms. Sue A Krish as owner, at 123 Church St in Northborough. The BBB has accredited it since December 2024 and grades it A, a grade the bureau ties to how long a business has been operating rather than to customer ratings. What homeowners write about most is the stage before the build. Reviewers in May 2026 describe unhurried conversations: one had approached two other ADU companies first and found this team the most knowledgeable and least pressured of the three, at comparable pricing; another, still in the exploration phase, said they explained things plainly and patiently without rush or pressure. A third got an estimate back quicker than five other contractors they had contacted. One review so far describes a finished job. That client, writing in May 2026, called it an excellent experience and singled out clear communication throughout, timelines that were respected, and outstanding craftsmanship. Several of the other reviewers say plainly that they had not yet made the final move to build. That is what to weigh. The praise is consistent and specific about the design and quoting stage, while the account of completed construction is one project deep and the written history runs from 2026. The company's own site describes a seasoned team with over 15 years of expertise in construction, real estate and property development, which is a claim about those people's earlier careers rather than about the two years the BBB records for the business itself. For a Massachusetts homeowner working out whether an ADU fits their lot, this is a reasonable first call, and the low-pressure feasibility conversation is the part reviewers keep describing. Before signing, ask to visit a completed ADU, get the registration numbers of whoever will pull the permit, and put the schedule in writing.
“ver time. The thing is that we worry about leaving a vacant house unattended the rest of the year. My parents own a really small house on a half acre of land in Natick, and they suggested we build an adu in their backyard instead. After some Google searching, I reached out to Millhawk, Buildx, and MA Tiny Homes. Does anyone have experience with these builders? Or any other recommendations? We are looking to spend under $250-275k for hopefully a 2 bed, 2 bath.”
We had an excellent experience working with Mass Tiny Homes. Their team was professional, creative, responsive, and truly cared about every detail of the project. Communication was clear throughout the entire process, timelines were respected, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. The quality of the work and attention to detail really set them apart. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and talented design-build team!
I was very impressed with the different people I spoke with at Mass Tiny Homes. Each person I spoke with was able to give me incredible details regarding building an ADU on my property. They were professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. I haven’t made the final move to build an ADU, but when I am ready, I will certainly use them and would definitely recommend them to people.
The folks at mass tiny homes took the time to chat with me when I was in the exploration phase of building. Without rush or pressure they explained things plainly and patiently, helping me make the right decision for me.
Your response was remarkable and got back to me with an estimate quicker than the other 5 contractors. I wish i could afford a tiny home verses an addition. If I could I would habe definitely chose you Mass Tiny Homes !
MA Tiny Homes was the 3rd ADU company I contacted while gathering information on purchasing/building a tiny home on my property. I found them to be the most knowledgeable and least pressured of the 3. Their pricing was comparable to the other 2 companies. I will be contacting them once I am ready to build.
