Massie Home Improvement, LLC

We inherited a cramped, outdated bathroom and knew we needed a full gut renovation, expansion, and some creative thinking to make the most of the space. Mike completely transformed it into a beautiful, thoughtfully designed bathroom that feels both functional and inviting. Throughout the project, he kept us informed every step of the way — from dealing with possible asbestos to navigating northeastern snowstorms and even a frozen water line. No matter the challenge, Mike remained communicative, professional, and solution-oriented. We are incredibly happy with how everything turned out and still find ourselves admiring the space nearly two months later. If you’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, respectful of timelines, and fairly priced for the quality of work he delivers, we highly recommend Mike!

I am a repeat customer. Mike has done numerous home improvement projects for my 100+ year old home. He was able to remodel my original front porch while preserving the integrity and charm of my older home. In addition, he completely saved my sunroom from near disaster after the floor had sunk in, which was the result of another contractors error. He fixed it, installed tile and it looks better than ever! Mike has an engineering background which makes his work meticulous as he is very detail oriented. His standards are very high!!

Working with Mike Massie has been a pure pleasure. I could not be more pleased with my newly remodeled bathroom. We joined two rooms to enlarge the space and faced numerous challenges, as the house is over 125 years old. Among them, Mike had to reframe the floors that were out of level by 3 1/2 inches. The resulting room, in my opinion, is absolutely beautiful and turned out even better than I had imagined. One of my favorite things about working with Mike is how collaborative he is, which really made the project fun. Mike Is meticulous in his execution, and the quality of the work reflects his commitment to excellence. His skills as an engineer are very much in evidence. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough and look forward to working with him again on future projects.

Massie Home Improvement installed high quality hardwood floors on my stairs and both children's bedrooms. Mike and his team did an excellent job!! They did a beautiful job in my home. Not only were they professional and respectful of my home, Mike was so gentle with my 81 year old mother. He was kind, patient, and friendly. I was amazed at his close attention to detail, and meticulous throughout the job. He indicated that it would take 2 weeks. Guess what? It took 2 weeks! This is rare as we know, but he completed it as promised. He was trustworthy and his team were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, and most of all, he was reasonably priced!! Definitely will use him again for other work I need done in my home. THANK YOU!! :)

If you’re looking for an honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable contractor/handy man for your next home project, definitely give Mike a call. He honored every date and time he said he’d be there, and his work is absolutely stunning. I just had two Trex staircases built/installed, and I could not be more thrilled with the result. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the central MA, and northern CT area.
