A neglected yard brought one customer to Matos Landscape & Construction: in an April 2019 Thumbtack review, they described a spring cleanup after several years without tending the yard. Claudio responded to the inquiry and gave an estimate on the spot for cleanup, shrub trimming, mulch and removal of smaller birch trees. The customer said the team worked from about 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a lunch break, and left everything spotless. The Marlborough business lists landscaping, masonry and concrete services on Thumbtack; Angi lists brick-and-stone work, free estimates and Spanish-language service. Thumbtack shows a 4.5-star average from four ratings, with written reviews dating from 2015 to 2019. In a December 2015 review, a customer said Claudio and his team completed a fall cleanup with tree removal, responded quickly to texts and gave a fair quote. Claudio sent photos because the customer was out of town when the work was completed. Snow service drew a different account. In February 2017, a previously enthusiastic customer said nobody showed up to remove snow that season and calls and emails went unanswered.
I am beyond impressed by Matos Landscape & Construction. Claudio was very responsive to my inquiry and came to provide an estimate for spring clean-up services, trimming of existing shrubs, mulch and removal of a few smaller birch trees. He walked around and provided a very reasonable estimate on the spot. His team all pleasant, happy, professional and respectful of the property. They showed up about 9AM and worked until 6PM with only a lunch break. Spring clean-up was beyond the normal amount of brush/leaves one would have for a single season. The yard had not been tended to in a few years. Everything was spotless when they left. I highly recommend them and plan to work with them again in the near future.
Was a great company for snow removal. Honestly the best of the best. I'm putting 3 stars as this season no one showed up to remove the snow and no calls or emails were answered.
Great fast response very reasonable price
Claudio and his team completed a Fall clean up for me, including removal of some trees. Claudio was very easy to work with. He responded quickly to my text messages, gave a fair quote and completed the job quickly. Since I was not in town on the day that the job was completed, he sent me many photos. I will work with Claudio again in the future.
