Needed to mark out septic and leach field for some work in my yard. Other underground utility locators had failed. Larry literally dug in, ran cameras, explained everything, fixed a cover that was broken, explained everything I wanted to know about my system and was a pleasure to have at my home.
Prompt and efficient. Wil definitely continue using them in the future.
It is pretty unfortunate that I have to write this review as it was completely avoidable. We are selling our home and the buyers scheduled Maznek to perform a septic inspection. During this inspection, the technician lost a camera in one of our pipes resulting in a leak in our bathroom. The technician spent hours trying to resolve the issue and over the course of the week was at our house for multiple days for hours at a time. Our house was filthy, covered in dirt and my toddler and I had to stay out of the house after work and daycare as we weren't able to use our tub on at least one of the days. We tried our best to be as accommodating as possible and the technician really tried his best to dislodge the camera. This saga ended after days of work and Maznek having to dig up our yard and remove our toilet twice. Due to the headache, I requested our tank be pumped as a complimentary service for the disaster and was told by Larry the owner to call to schedule. My husband tried to call several times to schedule and did not get a call back. I was finally able to schedule our tank to be pumped and on the day of service was told that the service would not be complimentary. When I finally was able to touch base with Larry, I was told that the service would not be complimentary as they had "lost so much money" in this disaster. Please keep in mind, we were not even the ones that scheduled this inspection, yet we had people in and out of our house for a week, tracking tons of dirt through our kitchen and bathroom, our yard getting dug up, and were flexible to whatever the team needed. Larry and his team were able to recover their "$700 camera" (per Larry) and for our headache and time (cleaning up dirt after work so that my child would not get filthy), Larry just said good luck and too bad. Doesn't sound like exceptional service to me. Just be aware. This company is only accommodating when it is convenient to them.
The workers were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely call them again when needed!
I had a great experience with Maznek. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain the work they completed. What stood out most was how clearly they walked me through the septic system and answered my questions in a way that was easy to understand. Their attention to detail and willingness to educate their customers really sets them apart. I only wish I had found them sooner (it unfortunately took a bad experience with another septic company for me to discover the level of service Maznek provides). I sincerely appreciate the time and effort their crew put into the job and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable septic service.
