BBB records it as a corporation started and incorporated on 2 February 2024 with a single employee, and files it under mason contractors. The customers who did write are largely happy. In July 2025 one homeowner described a $21,000 foundation and basement waterproofing job and called the crew quick and reliable; another that same month had brick-and-stone patio work done for about $10,000 and said the same thing — fast, and they would recommend the company. The one four-star came in September 2025 on a deck and porch repair: the work was good, the reviewer wrote, but the price landed $2,000 above what had been agreed, for protection of the wood. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show 4.7 from three ratings, and those two pages are the same three reviews mirrored, not six. Two things belong in any conversation before hiring. BBB now shows no rating at all and states it has information indicating the business is no longer operating, and BuildZoom's licence block reports registration #211059 as inactive, expired 9 February 2026, and at one point cancelled — a directory's account, not a state verification, but it points the same direction. Nothing in the state registry backs a current licence here. The sources also disagree about who runs the company. BBB names Martin Casey as president; BuildZoom lists an owner named Francisco De Jesus King. That is not a small discrepancy on a one-employee corporation two years old. For a homeowner in 2026, the honest read is this: a small Somerville masonry outfit whose handful of 2025 customers liked the work and its speed, but whose paper trail has gone quiet and whose registration is shown lapsed. Confirm the company is still trading and check its Home Improvement Contractor registration directly with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation before you sign anything or pay a deposit.
