Doug and Connor showed up bright and early on a Saturday morning after a call late on Friday about a failed system. That is how a recent Google customer described McAtee Company, adding that the two were fair and helpful with both the service and recommended best practices. On its HomeAdvisor and Angi profiles, the company describes itself as a family business focused on septic tank pumping, septic system replacement, tank replacement and tank repair, plus demolition and concrete cutting. Its website lists service in Gray, New Gloucester, Raymond, Windham, Falmouth and other nearby towns, and the company says it has been in business 30 years. A 2026 customer said they got to the house quickly, took care of the problem and charged reasonable rates. A 2025 customer wrote that the company came out the same day and that the pricing was very reasonable. A 2016 customer said Doug, the owner, and Brandon arrived as scheduled and located the tank and lid after a lot of digging. A 2016 customer said the owner found the access to their septic tank within 15 minutes, hidden under rip rap. That 2016 customer said he came back to pump it out, replaced the rip rap, and "You wouldn't even know he had been here."
