In 2026 the Cape Cod Times described Oscar Escher, of MCE Dirtworks, operating a plow while removing snow from the sidewalks at the Orleans Marketplace in Orleans. In 2024 Barnstable eNews reported that MCE Dirtworks Inc., a contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, would continue final restoration along Ocean Street and Gosnold Street. In 2018 andersonkreiger.com reported that, based on a “supplemental” reference, Mashpee determined that Dirtworks was not “responsible” under the public bidding laws and awarded the contract to the second-lowest bidder.
