McKinnon Tree & Landscape

McKinnon Tree & Landscape works out of 64 Steven Street in Hanson, handling the full range of yard work — lawn maintenance, spring and fall cleanups, patios, walkways, irrigation, curbside leaf pickup and new lawn installation — plus tree work backed by a licensed arborist on staff, per its BBB profile. Jeffrey McKinnon is listed as owner, and that profile puts the company at 19 years in business. There's only one retrievable review, from March 2017, describing a quick, efficient job whose crew “intigraded great ideas” into the work. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+, though its profile notes the business is not BBB Accredited — a separate fact, not a knock on the grade. A 2020 South Shore Business Review article names Jeff McKinnon as sole owner of a related hardscape, landscape and excavation operation based in the same town, which lines up with the broader service list — including septic system installation — its directory profiles carry. That 2017 review is on Angi. Nothing available is dated more recently than that one 2017 review, so it's worth asking directly about recent jobs before booking. A fair call for South Shore lawn care, cleanups, hardscape work or tree service given the arborist on staff and the clean BBB grade — just confirm current availability and pin down the scope in writing, since there isn't much on hand about how recent work has gone.
