In a March 2026 Angi review, a customer said Matt didn't charge more than he had asked, didn't push extra work and cleaned up when he was done; another that month said the company installed a new shed roof fast. A December 2025 review described Matt setting up a DVD tower kit and doing several other small jobs around the house. A May 2022 HomeAdvisor customer had Matt clean, sand and stain a deck, and an October 2022 customer said he gave notice ahead of time about schedule changes because of the weather. In a June 2021 review, a customer who walked him around four levels of living space said he took over writing the list of what each project needed, and that he laid vinyl tiles in both bathrooms. A November 2023 customer who went online on the Sunday of Thanksgiving week had him at the house the next morning. A July 2026 customer described a knee wall repair for which they had bought rigid foam and insulation; they said he skipped the insulation and started sealing up the drywall, then lost his temper, raised his voice and aggressively tore the drywall back down when they pointed it out. For a knee wall repair. I sent a photo and went over in person specific materials I bought like rigid foam and insulation for the repair. Instead of following the plan or communicating with me, he skipped the insulation and foam entirely and started sealing the drywall up. When I noticed and politely pointed it out, he completely lost his temper. Raising his voice and aggressively tearing the drywall back down. If a contractor disagrees with a standard method or isn't comfortable executing a plan because they quoted for an easier job where they thought they could cut corners, they should speak up or decline the job, not ignore instructions and lash out at the homeowner. Absolutely do not recommend.
