Meticulous Painting is a Fall River, Massachusetts painting contractor hired for exterior and interior house painting, the carpentry repairs that go with it, and power washing. Reviewers almost always write about Carl — a 2023 customer calls him the owner — and describe him being on site with a small crew rather than sending one. Preparation is the theme that runs through the record, which holds a 4.7 average across 82 Google ratings and written accounts from 2021 to 2026. A 2022 customer describes shutters, drain pipes and other loose items being removed before prep began; a 2024 customer watched a three-man crew work through the preparation of the house before any paint went on; and a 2023 customer with sad-looking shingles says the crew went past the standard two coats to get the finish right. A 2023 owner of a 200-year-old farmhouse and a 2023 owner of a Victorian that had suffered years of deferred maintenance both credit the same combination of painting and repair. Recent work is much the same. In June 2026 a customer had front and back porches replaced by Carl, Jose and Claudio, quickly and at a price they called reasonable, and another had ceilings, walls and baseboards painted in four days when five or six had been quoted. In May 2026 a Westport homeowner had the dining room and kitchen painted, and another customer had the interiors of new windows polyurethaned, with more done than was contracted. An office repaint in April 2026 drew the same notes on tidiness and low disruption. Two things are worth raising before you sign. The Massachusetts state registry shows the company's home improvement contractor registration, number 166391, as expired. And in July 2026 three one-star reviews landed on the company's Google listing pointing at a Fall River Reporter report, published 17 July 2026, that a local business owner had been accused of illegally dumping paint containers on protected watershed property near Blossom Road; the report as quoted in those reviews names no business, and the reviewers are reacting to the story rather than to work done for them. For a full exterior repaint where the prep matters more than the paint, this is a crew with a long run of detailed, consistent praise and an owner who shows up. Ask for the registration status in writing, confirm the scope line by line — one April 2026 customer found a contracted piece of exterior trim undone at handover — and ask how waste is disposed of.

Very satisfied. Easy company to deal with. Did a great job. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a painter. Repairs were done properly. Very happy!
I hired meticulous painting Carl and his crew came did excellent work very polite, got here on time and did an amazing job on my house and deck. Carl was very helpful in picking colors and very knowledgeable in his craft. He even went above and beyond by painting my light posts and patio furniture free of charge. I will highly recommend Meticulous Painting.
Really Dude? Are you not charging enought to properly dump your materials or is it you really dont care......gonna be hard to bounce back from this blunder......
Yikes. Just saw this. Fall River business owner accused of illegal dumping after FRPD investigation Published 23 hours ago on July 17, 2026 By Ken Paiva A local business owner is being accused of illegal dumping near the city’s water supply. According to police, on June 18th, Officer William Medeiros of the Fall River Police Department’s Environmental Police Unit discovered several paint containers illegally dumped on protected watershed property near Blossom Road and Yellow Hill Road. Unfortunately for the suspected dumper, one of the paint cans still had an order number attached. Officer Medeiros traced the purchase, reviewed nearby surveillance footage, and identified a commercial painting van in the area the previous afternoon. The vehicle’s owner later acknowledged being its sole operator and offered to “make it right.” By then, however, the City had already removed and properly disposed of the debris including hazardous materials to protect the municipal water supply. The suspected dumper, Carl Cote, will be summoned to court for illegal dumping and held responsible for the City’s cleanup and disposal costs. FRPD released the following statement: “The lesson here is simple: If you’re going to call your business “Meticulous Painting,” you may want to be equally meticulous about disposing of your paint cans properly.
Who disposes paint cans off the side of the road and thinks that's alright? You should be ashamed of yourself.
