MH Fence LLC. is a fencing contractor based in Weare, New Hampshire, led by Mike and focused on residential fence projects. Homeowners describe hiring the company for backyard, pool, vinyl, chain-link and custom animal fencing, with projects ranging from four-panel installations to enclosing an entire yard. The customer history is mostly positive and spans 2023 through 2026. Reviewers repeatedly praise the finished appearance, straight runs, sturdy installation and attention to detail. One homeowner said a hilly yard was fenced in three days, while another described a secure goat enclosure built around the animals' needs. Customers also mention clear estimates, competitive pricing, concrete-set posts, flexible planning and crews who were respectful around other people working at the house. There is one detailed negative account to discuss before booking. In a June 2026 update, a homeowner said questions about concreting the posts were met with laughter and a dismissive attitude, and said a replacement fencing company questioned the explanation given for supply problems. That review is materially different from the surrounding praise, so prospective customers should ask who will manage communication, confirm the materials and post-setting plan in writing, and clarify how changes or concerns will be handled. MH Fence looks suited to homeowners seeking a residential fence, pool fence, yard enclosure or animal-fencing project and who value detailed installation and a clear quote. Before signing, confirm the scope, materials, schedule, concrete requirements and the point of contact for questions; the written record supports strong installation outcomes but also makes communication an important item to test directly.
We recently got our fence in the backyard put up by the guys at MH fence. They were great! Very communicative, understood what we were looking for and explained our options and got it done in no time! We had other people working at the house and they were very respectful to everyone. Highly recommend!
Very professional and determined to get the job done right, looks great
We had a four panel fence installed. Excellent work and attention to detail. So happy with the project outcome! Great value ! Would definitely recommend to family and friends-~ Vicki
Excellent experience start to finish. We asked Mike to quote 3 sizes of fence. He did that happily and didn’t seem to mind at all that we went with the smallest are. Everything every step of the way was as promised. Timeline, materials, price, everything and a super friendly crew!!
***UPDATE! There were never any changes to our fence install plan other than the fact that I asked questions about if our posts should be concreted in the ground. The second I started asking questions. I started being laughed at and talked down to like I knew absolutely nothing. Almost as if I had no right to be asking questions. As soon as I reached out to our new fencing company, they told me that it was strange that our previous guy wasn’t able to get supplies because they had tons of 5 foot chain-link fencing in their yard. This guy is a walking red flag! Please be sure to do your research and hire a reputable company, especially on a job that costs so much money. We initially chose this fence company after receiving multiple quotes because we felt they offered the best fit for our project. Unfortunately, our experience quickly became frustrating and unprofessional. Our installation date was pushed back multiple times, often with very little notice. What was especially disappointing was that I was the one who had to reach out the night before our scheduled installation to find out what was going on. Had I not contacted them myself, it appeared that no one was planning to notify us that the installation was being delayed. As customers, we expect clear communication and respect for our time. As we were preparing to spend several thousand dollars on a fence that we hope will last for many years, I asked some questions about the installation process, specifically regarding concrete posts versus non-concrete posts. Rather than taking the time to explain the differences, Mike laughed at me and responded in a condescending manner. He even said, "Of course, you and everybody else know better than the fence guy." I explained that we had spoken with several fence companies before choosing his and that we were simply trying to ensure we were making the right investment for our property. There was no reason for the rude attitude, especially toward customers asking reasonable questions about a major purchase. Unfortunately, the disrespect continued. Between the repeated scheduling delays, the lack of communication, and the unprofessional treatment, we ultimately decided to cancel the project and hire a different company. Customer service, communication, and professionalism are just as important as the quality of the work, and this experience fell far short of our expectations.
