One long-standing customer, writing in October 2023, said they had used the company for a decade — a roof replacement, an addition, and repairs on both commercial and residential property. The credential here is the real thing rather than a directory badge: the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #179052, is active in the state registry. BuildZoom separately lists construction supervisor licence CS-111674 as active, which is that directory's own claim. BBB grades the business A+ while stating it is not accredited, and records Nugent Roofing, Inc. as an S corporation started in May 2016 with four employees at 20 Montvale Ave in Stoneham — a different address from the Wilmington one on BuildZoom, though the phone number matches across both. One thing to weigh: the written record stops in July 2024 even as the permits keep coming, and nine ratings on a single platform is a modest base for a company filing this much work. Ask for two or three recent addresses if you want current confirmation. For a full re-roof or storm damage anywhere from the Merrimack Valley to north of Boston, the case is strong — a verified registration, a deep and current roofing permit history, and reviewers who keep describing the same two things: fast response and a fair price.
