Mighty Oak Tree & Lawn Care

Mighty Oak Tree & Lawn Care takes down trees and looks after lawns. Its website lists tree removal, trimming, pruning, cabling and deep root fertilization, and names a service area that includes Monroe, Trumbull, Fairfield, Stratford, Easton and Westport. The company says it has been in business 10 years. A recent customer said Travis and his crew took down a giant old pine and removed a large oak branch hanging over the house, cleaned up well, and got the job scheduled the same day. A recent customer said they have used Mighty Oak for more than 10 years for lawn services and tree work. A 2025 customer said Travis, Dave and the crew removed a very tall dead tree and trimmed several others, and that the deck and roof survived unscathed. A 2025 reviewer wrote that Travis removed 3 trees in places with playscapes and a shed around them, at a fair price. A 2024 customer said Dave, Travis and their team came out the next day when a storm-snapped tree fell onto another tree in their parent's yard. A 2024 customer who asked for front-yard lawn care only said the spreader machine was driven into a freshly seeded backyard after rain, got stuck in mud and left deep ruts. That customer said the owner came out and threw more grass seed down, and that the grass never grew in. A 2021 reviewer wrote that "any inconvenience is tough nuts for you" if you live near where they are working.
