Two names come up in almost every review of Minutemen Moving, and they are the same two names year after year: Carlos and Brian. Across 26 Google ratings averaging 5.0, and written accounts running from 2021 to this spring, customers describe the owner himself on the truck — an April 2026 customer counted "all three men (one the owner)" carrying a third-floor condo into a house in just under six hours, one flat rate, furniture taken apart and put back together at both ends. The most telling story is about patience rather than muscle. A 2023 customer had their move date shifted repeatedly by weather and undelivered PODS; when Carlos and Brian came back to unpack the containers they had loaded twenty months earlier, "nothing had shifted, nothing was broken". The rest is consistent. Floor protectors put under furniture before anything moved, in a 2025 job. A two-part move across two properties in 2024. A Plymouth condo to a Carver house in 2024 where the crew landed "on the button" against the written estimate. Someone's parents moved Plymouth to Pembroke in 2025, and a Boston-to-Cape-Cod run in 2022. Repeat business is the norm — several people describe hiring them two or three times, for homes and for offices — and a 2025 customer says the company came recommended by one of its own competitors. Its Better Business Bureau file is graded A+ and has been accredited since February 2017. Two practical things before you call. This is a small outfit: the Bureau records a sole proprietorship with two employees across two Cape locations, so the crew everyone praises is essentially the whole company, and dates go quickly. And the tenure figures do not agree — the company's website says it was established in 1999, and the Bureau records 16 years from a 2010 start. One thing worth checking yourself. The website advertises "Licensed Movers #30685". Massachusetts household movers are licensed by the Department of Public Utilities, and that number is the company's own claim rather than something confirmed against the registry, so ask to see the certificate and the insurance before moving day.
