On It Movers is a Weymouth-based Greater Boston mover with the kind of scale that's hard to argue with: 381 Google ratings averaging 5.0, part of a broader history of hundreds of reviews going back to 2023. It handles local and long-distance moves, packing, and in-transit storage across the metro area. Recent reviews keep repeating the same crew names — Kamil, Camilla, Eugene, Matthew, Shawn — and the same theme: quick, careful, and priced close to what they quoted. One customer fired an interstate mover mid-job after being asked for triple the promised price, called On It Movers instead, and had the move done in under six hours against an eight-hour estimate, for nearly 30% less than the original quote. Another needed to move a daughter's apartment in North Attleboro and clocked the crew finishing in under two hours against a two-hour plan, handling everything carefully along the way. One recent review is worth pausing on, though. A July 2026 customer said the crew themselves were friendly, professional, and careful with their belongings — no complaints about how they were treated — but raised real concerns about how long the job took and how the final cost compared to the original quote for a move with a couple of nearby stops. For a local or long-distance move in Greater Boston, this is a deep, consistent record to book against. Still, given that one recent account of cost and time creeping past the estimate, it's worth pinning down exactly what's covered in the quote — especially if your move involves multiple stops — before signing off.

Kamil and his team did a phenomenal job. They were very friendly and helpful. They packed all of our belongings in a timely fashion and got them to their destination. They off loaded everything quickly and placed every box and piece of furniture where we asked. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a quality company. The quote given was almost spot on to the final cost.

The team went above and beyond on the day of our move. There were several curve balls throughout the day and they handled them all calmly and confidently. Highly recommend.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about my experience.

First, I want to say that the moving crew themselves were friendly, professional, and handled my belongings with care. I genuinely liked the staff, and I have no complaints about how they treated me or my furniture.

My concern is with how long the move took and the final cost.

I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom apartment, with two additional stops that were all very close to each other. I was originally quoted around $850, which seemed completely reasonable given the multiple stops.

However, the move ended up taking 7 hours, and after additional fees and tips, my total came to nearly $2,000.

Looking back, I honestly don’t understand how it took that long. My apartment was already fully packed and bagged before the movers arrived. The furniture included one sofa, one queen bed, one king bed (already assembled), one small desk, and one dresser. It wasn’t a particularly large or complicated move.

On moving day, I was so focused on getting everything finished that I didn’t question the time or the charges. But after reflecting on it, I really feel the crew could have worked a bit more efficiently. Even if the move ended up taking longer than expected, I wish someone had communicated that to me along the way or given me an updated estimate. Going from a quoted 3-hour move to a 7-hour move, and from about $850 to nearly $2,000, is a huge difference for any customer.

Again, I want to emphasize that I liked the movers themselves—they were polite and careful with my belongings. My disappointment is with the lack of efficiency and communication about the dramatically increasing cost. Better time management and keeping customers informed would have made this a much better experience.
