The customer was skeptical of a couple of the wall placements Michael recommended, and wrote that in the end they could not be happier with the layout. The crew also sourced material to color-match a wall already on the site. The Lowell company holds a 5.0-star average from six Angi ratings, written between 2023 and 2025. In November 2023, a customer said Michael and his team repaired a large stone wall that had begun to crumble, finished everything as stated in the estimate, and left the area looking better than before. In November 2024, another thanked Michael, Joe and the team for a retaining wall, a paver driveway and a fence, and called the price very reasonable. An October 2024 customer described Mike, Joe and the crew bringing an old pool area back to life with new decking and coping, and planned to bring them back for a new sidewalk. Communication comes up in more than one review. An October 2024 customer said Mike explained the process, timing and cost and called every day to go over what the crew had finished and what came next; the crew left the work area clean at the end of each day. The November 2024 retaining-wall customer said Michael was easy to reach and replied when they needed him. MJ masonry is the best contractor. Michael is essay to communicate with, he always responds reply you when need it. He helps us to fix problems with the project and get things done smooth. His team is done fantastic jobs with retaining wall, driver with paver, install fence for us. He did nice jobs on front of our house and gets things done on time. We appreciate he and his team a lot for the best project which makes us so happy. I give he and his team 5 star. You not regret it if you hire his team to get the projects. Plus his price very reasonable. I would really recommend to anyone who need to get projects done smooth and fantastic job at your house go with MJ masonry contractor. Project went great. Michael provided timely quotes, kept his appointments and arrived on time. The quality of work was excellent despite being a challenging, multi level layout that required several stairs/treads, 3 walls, and a patio. The team also sourced some materials to color match 1 wall that was already onsite. I was skeptical for a couple of the wall placements that were Michael’s recommendation, but in the end I could not be happier with the overall layout of the project. I would recommend MJ Masonry for your next hardscape project.
I highly recommend MJ Masonry. Everything went extremely well from start to finish. Mike was very helpful in explaining the process, timing and cost. He was exceptionally responsive called every day to review what his crew completed and next steps. We were very pleased with how punctual his team was and the excellent workmanship they displayed. They left the work area immaculate at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to call on MJ Masonry in the future.
