Mockingbird Hill Tree and Lawn Care is a Lakeville business run by husband-and-wife team Tom and Margot Simmons, offering arborist-led tree care alongside lawn care and property maintenance across Southeastern Massachusetts. Tom has worked as an arborist since 1973 and holds Massachusetts and New Hampshire Certified Arborist credentials; Margot started the company's lawn care side in 1991, and the business has operated under the Mockingbird Hill name since 1987. In a 2006 newspaper article, Tom was quoted describing how to identify anthracnose fungus on maples and oak trees, the kind of diagnostic knowledge the company's arborist credentials point to. The company offers free consultations on lawn, tree, and landscape work, charging only for consultations tied to potential litigation such as insurance disputes over damaged trees. Ask about current turnaround times and recent project photos before booking.
