Modern Mosaic Arts

Modern Mosaic Arts is the studio of mosaic artist Cathleen Newsham, who, by the company's own account, designs, fabricates and installs decorative and functional mosaics for residential and commercial clients, working with architects, interior designers and homeowners. Its website puts that at nearly twenty years and its Houzz profile at nearly 25. Houzz shows 12 of its projects, a 5.0 rating from 3 ratings and licence number 47-1166349 printed on the profile. Its written reviews date from 2015. In an April 2015 Houzz review, a household said Cathleen created a mosaic basin sink for their powder room and guided them through setting up its backlighting under the vanity; another April 2015 reviewer said a custom powder-room sink ordered about 8 years earlier still drew compliments. A July 2015 review described a mosaic guest bathroom sink and a kitchen backsplash, both custom. Local news coverage has also featured her mosaic work, including a mural with Boys & Girls Club teens and a mosaic wall hanging.
