Raupp Painting

A cedar-shingled cape with lead paint needed careful preparation before Raupp repainted it. In an October 2026 Google review, Robert and Agnes described primer and two finish coats on their West Hartford home, plus replacement cedar shakes and garage trim. They named Neemias, Belarmino and Jaoa as the painters and Carlos as the carpenter, and praised the communication throughout. Raupp identifies itself as a West Hartford painting contractor and advertises free estimates. Its stated service area includes West Hartford, Branford, Granby, Simsbury, Glastonbury and Essex. Google lists five stars from 115 ratings. June through August 2026 customers praise preparation, attention to detail and cleanup; one June customer says the crew left the worksite clean and organized each day. Older customers describe both exterior and interior work. In November 2025, a homeowner said the crew power-washed the exterior, sprayed the surface and rolled two coats of paint or stain. They said additional board replacements were brought to them for approval before proceeding. Another November 2025 customer described owner Rodrigo and executive director Juan visiting repeatedly to inspect work on a 1929 colonial. A June 2025 bedroom customer said the crew stripped wallpaper and primed on the first day, then painted walls, radiators, trim and ceiling on the second. The customer also described furniture being put back and cable and internet reconnected. In May 2025, another customer described six ceiling holes patched after electrical work, the ceiling skim-coated and the room repainted. An October 2025 deck customer said Raupp replaced boards and painted the deck. One June 2024 Google customer reported a missed scheduled estimate with no call. In an October 2023 account, a customer said Raupp returned at no charge to repair deck lattice after a bear damaged the newly repaired section.
