A customer who lives in Meriden wrote that Moe's is in Wallingford, and that after two months of a Sears contract failing to get their fridge fixed, Derek from Moe's figured out the problem, ordered parts, and now it's up and running. The jobs are household appliances. Brendan replaced the control panel on one customer's microwave. Dean fixed a Samsung freezer for another. Patrick, called out to a leaking dishwasher, found that the outer seal and the seal on the bottom of the door were both leaking, cleaned up the area he worked in, and said the door needed to be replaced. Derek B had the correct part on his truck, so one customer did not need to buy a new washer machine. Moe the owner made the trip to one home himself because all of his technicians were out on service, and brought the correct part for the refrigerator. Derek B sent a photo of himself ahead of a visit so the household knew who to expect, and a customer said the company kept in touch through texting for scheduling and updates. A 2025 customer said Patrick took a dryer door back to his shop to remove the screws, then reattached it; the dryer was under warranty, so there was no fee. A 2025 customer said they had Moe's fix a range that would no longer go over 285 degrees and a dishwasher that would shut off before the cycle completed. One recent 4-star review reads that the dryer is not working and is doing the same thing as before, and asks the company to honor the warranty and fix it or provide a new one.
