A 2015 reviewer said Glauco painted every room in their house when they first moved in, and that they were very pleased with the outcome. A 2018 customer who hired Glauco and his team to paint a house before moving in flagged thumb prints on every cabinet and paint left on windows, and said he resolved them. The 2018 customer also said the inner skylight frames were painted while shut and a wall light was broken. In that 2018 account, he wanted to charge $350 to fix the paint job in the bar area, and after the customer offered $200 he refused to fix the bar or do the remaining paint work. Very neat reliable, friendly.
I hired Glauco and his team to paint my house prior to moving in. The job had to be split up due to timing (my fault) and they were pretty accommodating. The first part of the job (kitchen and master bedroom) went fine. A few small things had to be flagged (thumb prints on every cabinet, paint left on windows - both resulting from his rushing the work) but he resolved them. He said he couldn’t paint over oil paint so he didn’t bother to paint any of the windows in the master, something he didn’t flag until the end and he painted the inner skylight frames whilst shut (despite me telling him not to touch them), so we have some shockingly badly painted skylights when they are open (think half the frame is pale wood and half is white paint)! He then painted the bar area, it’s a dark color so I get that it’s not an easy paint job but he left it looking as per the pictures. One of his team also broke a wall light that we didn’t discover until afterwards. I asked him to finish the work (2 more rooms and fix the bar area) and he agreed but then wanted to charge me $350 to fix the paint job in the bar. I offered $200 and he then refused to fix the bar or do any of the remaining paint work. There is a reason he is cheaper than the other painters out there. I would spend a bit extra and get a decent job done next time.
Glauco is very detail oriented and does great work. He's reliable and easy to work with. He also did a much bigger project (painted every room in our house) when we first moved in and we were very pleased with the outcome.
Mohawk Painting was fantastic! Not only did they do a wonderful job painting and complete the job on schedule, they also kept everything spotless and clean while they worked, came back for any touchups with no problem, and were pleasant to have in our home. We would HIGHLY recommend them for any job big or small!
I have used Mohawk Painting twice to paint the outside of my house and will be using the company to paint the entire inside of my house in the spring. The quality and professionalism of the mohawk team is exceptional and I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who needs their house painted
